Arriving at the TheatreThere are drop-off spaces available on Collins Street outside the entrance to The Hedberg to accommodate drop-off of wheelchair users or patrons with access needs. Entrance to the TheatreLift access is available from the main entrance on level one of The Hedberg building to all Theatre Royal and Studio Theatre foyers. For lift entrance to The Recital Hall please enter through the University of Tasmania entrance located at 19 Collins Street. |

Bathrooms at the TheatreThere are accessible bathrooms available on all levels of The Hedberg. There are both left hand transfer and right hand transfer access bathrooms available. Please enquire with staff on arrival. All access bathrooms also have baby change facilities. |

Companion CardThe Theatre Royal is a signatory to the Companion Card Scheme and accepts the Companion Card. Please contact the Box Office directly to make a Companion Card booking. |

Guide, Hearing and Assistance DogsThe Theatre Royal welcomes guests accompanied by guide, hearing or assistance dogs. |

Assisted Hearing ServiceThe Theatre Royal and the Studio Theatre are equipped with an Assistive Hearing System. This system can aid patrons with all levels of hearing impairment. The Assistive Hearing System offers amplified sound through dedicated headphones or by using a hearing loop that interacts with hearing aid devices. Any equipment needed can be booked and collected, free of charge, from the Box Office. There are a limited number of these units and bookings are essential. Please contact our Box Office to discuss your needs. |
