Barbershop Harmony Australia (BHA) returns to Hobart in November for its first post-Covid Harmony Festival. 

Over the two days, fifty quartets, mixed, women’s and men’s, will be vying for one of twelve places in the Quartet Final on Friday evening.

Each quartet performs two songs, most often a ballad and an up-tune. Each quartet will be striving to create a connection with you and the judges through lyrical storytelling, ringing chords, and by engaging you emotionally.

Barbershop Harmony Australia looks forward to sharing with you the joy of making music through song; a unique style of a cappella 4-part harmony. When all 4-parts in a quartet are in perfect balance, a “ringing” or overtone sound is produced. This “ring” is a joy to the singers and audience alike. Wait till you hear it in the Theatre Royal!
