Dr Jane Woollard | Senior Lecturer, and Coordinator of Theatre and Performance at the University of Tasmania. Jane Woollard is a theatre director, playwright and dramaturg. In a practice spanning over 35 years, she has directed many productions in unconventional performance sites including abandoned church halls, a cathedral, a Welsh church, a chapter house, three town halls, a post office, a moat and a jetty. She has also directed work in theatres including the Fairfax Studio, Arts Centre Melbourne, fortyfive downstairs, the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre, Mount Gambier, Melbourne’s storeroom theatre workshop, as well as many works for La Mama Theatre and St Martins Youth Arts Centre.
Jenni Large | Choreographer and Performer
Born and raised in Naarm/Melbourne now based in Lutruwita/Tasmania, Jenni works as an independent dancer, performer, teacher and award-winning choreographer across Australia. Jenni is transfixed on unpacking socio-political themes that impact women, eternally fascinated by the dynamics of sex and power her works utilise the tropes of popular-culture, horror and comedy, interested in tools like duration, tension and pay off to insight experiences of disturbance and delight.
