Pirate Eyes
Two sisters - one filled with murderous envy, the other oblivious to the loop she is trapped within; a little woman filled with the black pearls of despair; a mysterious giant, a sea rat, and a sinister pirate orchestrating it all.
Directed by Jane Woollard, performed by graduating Theatre and Performance students and their peers, and designed by UTAS Art and Music students, Pirate Eyes (2001) is a dark theatrical cartoon, a weird story painted in technicolour noir.
Don’t miss this early work by one of Australia’s most in demand playwrights, presented by emerging Tasmanian theatre practitioners.
