Queen Forever - A Night at the Theatre
Get ready, Hobart! Queen Forever is returning to the Theatre Royal on Friday, 29th November 2024, with their incredible “A Night at the Theatre” tour. Having played many sold-out shows in Hobart over the years, the band is thrilled to be back at Australia’s oldest working theatre.
This highly interactive and theatrical show takes audiences on an unforgettable journey through the legendary career of Queen. Fronted by the incredible Gareth Hill as Freddie Mercury, the band brings Queen’s legendary music to life with energy and authenticity. Scott Bastian’s portrayal of Brian May, Brad Hodgkinson as Roger Taylor, and Darryn McLaughlin as John Deacon ensure that every note, beat, and riff stays true to Queen’s original sound. Danny Oakhill completes the lineup as Spike Edney, with his stunning keyboard performance.
The setlist covers Queen’s biggest hits, including “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Will Rock You,” and “Killer Queen,” along with some deep cuts for dedicated fans. Queen Forever’s show is enhanced by dazzling costumes and lighting that take you through Queen’s different eras, from their early glam rock days to their hard rock anthems.
Set in the Theatre Royal, Australia’s oldest working theatre, this night promises to be a special one, combining the magic of Queen’s music with the charm of Hobart’s most beloved cultural landmark.
