Thematically this vibrant evening explores ways rock and electronica instrumentation can be used – from the straight-ahead Aus Rock language to more radical forms of sound art and sonic expression. The plurality of genre in the evening underpins JOLT Arts broad vision for captivating contemporary music born from Australian cultures. 

JOLT Arts presents 3 acts from their stable of artists

• Aus Rock band, The Hackkets, will headline with songs from their album So Faar So Good. The Hackkets are a band made up of members with and without disability, who formed in the late 90s at Footscray Community Arts. They have gone from strength to strength, mentored by Blues Hall of Famer, Shannon Bourne on guitar. 
   
• Sound art ensemble Noise Scavengers will be performing work from their latest album Scrapper. Noise Scavengers have recently returned from their second tour to Japan and include artist with neurodiversities. 
   
• JOLT director James Hullick will be unleashing the axe in a solo guitar and voice performance.
