TAKAYNA – The Heart of Lutruwita / Tasmania is a journey to the vast and threatened landscapes of Australia’s largest temperate rainforest in northwest Lutruwita / Tasmania.  Told through the powerful stories of Tasmanian Aboriginal community members, frontline activists, scientists and musicians.

takayna / Tarkine One of the last wild places on earth, is a powerful new coffee table book, produced by Australian Geographic in collaboration with the Bob Brown Foundation. Featuring stunning images and six essays, this book is more than a celebration of Takayna; it’s a call to action to protect its wild beauty from mining and logging.
